Our Koalas welcomed Earth Day with the song 彩色的地球 The Colorful Earth. During the circle time, our Koalas learned to say 我愛地球 I love the Earth, 我可以把垃圾撿起來 I can pick up trash, 我可以關燈 I can turn off the light, 我可以關水 I can turn off the water, 我可種花種樹 I can plant flowers and trees. Our Koalas experimented with water color and created Earth Day projects to remind everyone to love our Earth! |

Our Cubs celebrated the Earth Day with the story, 珍愛地球 Love Our Earth. From the story, we discussed ways we show our love for the Earth including, conserve water, reduce, reuse & recycle, and protect animals and plants. To show our love for our planet Earth, we made our handprints holding the Earth in art activity. We also sang the song 魚兒魚兒水中游 to show our love for the animals and its environment. |

Our Pandas learned about Aircraft 飛行器. We learned to say Airplane 飛機, Hot Air Balloon 熱氣球, Helicopter 直升機, Airship 飛行船, and Space Shuttle 太空船 in Chinese. We made paper airplanes in art activity and learned about force of gravity in science. We used marble and wine glass to do this experiment. We put the marble on the table and use the wine glass to pick it up. The marble was spinning inside the wine glass without falling. Our Pandas were amazed and think it's magic. Our Favorite song this week was “造飛機" |
